We leave the Salsibury Plains and the downs of West England and cross into Wales pausing at Tinturn Abby. |

Miles fell away quickly as the now beloved baby Ferrari in the guise of a bright purple Fiat flew over the roads at a comfortable 90 MPH. We departed England at the River Severn and crossed into Wales. The first stop was historic and picturesque Tinturn Abbey, nestled in a beautiful wooded valley. We worked our way ever northward and westward towards the Black Mountains which was my objective. |

Edgar, although being born and raised in England, had until this trip never seen Wales and I
was eager to show him the country I love so much. We spent almost an hour wandering the Tinturn Abby site joining busloads of German tourists. |
