Miles fell away quickly as the now beloved baby Ferrari in the guise of a bright purple Fiat flew over the roads at a comfortable 90 MPH.

We departed England at the River Severn and crossed into Wales. The first stop was historic and picturesque Tinturn Abbey, nestled in a beautiful wooded valley.

We worked our way ever northward and westward towards the Black Mountains which was my objective.
Edgar, although being born and raised in England, had until this trip never seen Wales and I was eager to show him the country I love so much.

We spent almost an hour wandering the Tinturn Abby site joining busloads of German tourists.
